Der Januar ist bei mir was das Fotografieren betrifft immer so etwas wie die Saure-Gurken-Zeit. Richtig Spaß macht es eigentlich erst, wenn die Landschaft im Schnee versinkt oder zumindest leicht puderverzuckert ist.

So konnte ich dann doch bis zum Ende dieses Monats noch einige nette Schneefotos sammeln. Es gab natürlich auch genügend dieser tristen, trüben, nicht sonnigen Januartage.

Denn eigentlich habe ich beschlossen dieses Jahr positiv anzufangen. Hoffentlich freut sich auch diese kleine Meise im Bild oben über unser neu aufgestelltes Vogelfutterhaus.

into the woods! It's a sunday, cold, again we are the first ones here
and I allow Mia to jump around in the snow without lench!
Der Schnee ist inzwischen weggetaut, aber dafür ist es bitterkalt am Morgen - vielleicht so ca. - 10°C. Ich beabsichtige Schlehen zu pflücken! Wenn man Schlehen verarbeiten will, muss man warten bis sie am Strauch starken Frost abbekommen haben. Dadurch verlieren sie ihre Bitterkeit. Aus den Schlehen habe ich danach Schlehensirup und - gelee gemacht. Wen's interessiert wie das geht, hinterlässt einen Kommentar am Ende.
The snow already melted but instead it became bitterly cold in the morning - maybe about -10° C. I intend to pick sloes! To process sloes you have to wait until they caught a heavy frost on their shrubs. This way they loose their sourness. From the sloes I made sloe syrup and jelly. Whoever is interested in leaves a comment at the end.
Jetzt freue ich mich hier auf diesem Post über Schnee und beschwere mich über Kälte und Frost, doch die Einwohner dieser Stadt können darüber ein ganz anderes Liedchen singen. Mein Sohn hat mir gestern dieses Foto zugeschickt. Das musste ich hier einfach mal zeigen! Woher wohl? Wer errät's?
